I recently tried Michael's again after several years, and I must say the food is still very good & the service excellant! The only gripe I had was that they made allowance for a 20% tip when they put the bill on my credit card as a ""temporary transaction"", so the ""temporary transaction"" total increased by over $20.00! I left a $25 CASH tip when I paid the tab of $110.00. This is the first time something like that has ever happened and I eat out at difference places at least 3 or 4 times a week! I believe the tip is up to the customer and why should a pre-figured 20% tip be included even if it is as a ""temporary transaction"" amount??? I am sorry to say it, but it looks like these people have gotten ""stiffed"" quite a bit in the past and don't trust their customers!! When I go back to Michael's I intend to pay with cash!
