Review content:
Really people! I have been going to Fox's (first Oak Lawn) for over 30 years and more. I like the pizza, BUT the service has been an absolute joke on my last three visits. I like to give the benefit of the doubt and do sometimes consider maybe it's just a bad night. Every night is a bad night in Fox's! The last two times we were there we were seated in the main room and the second time we sat ourselves even though there was a hostess somewhere, who knows where, but we waited for her to come around for about 20 minutes to seat us and she never appeared. Mind you, this was a busy Saturday night and there was one waitress in the big room. The poor thing could hardly catch her breath and at one point looked like she would cry. We waited 45 minutes for a menu, she came back 1/2 hour later to take our order and then we didn't see her until our food arrived and she ran off before we could even place another drink order. It only got worse for her and us. Not to mention, some genius has now decided to only serve house wine which is some cheap crap. Let me get this straight, isn't bottled wine a big money maker? I go for the entertainment, but will consider not even bothering because I can't enjoy the entertainment after the rest of the experience is so annoying. Tell me, what are they saving by scrimping on one extra server? By the way, I had an even worse experience at the location in Oak Lawn about three years ago...I'll spare you the annoying details but have to say, it's a disappoint to see someone run a good family business into the ground like the the new management is doing...such a shame.
