Next month marks the 7 year anniversary of me & my car. I'm hoping for at least another 10 to come! Anyhoo, after 7 years of joy, I figured it was about time to put some new tires on little Golfie. Besides, the rubber of the tires was starting to disintegrate. Eww. I went to Woody's on a Saturday on the recommendation of a work associate - and now I'm pretty sure I owe him something for it! The first gentleman from Woody's to help me listened to my background story first - that my car was almost 7 years old, had never had new tires, but it has EXTREMELY low mileage (uh....like under 35K). Right away, he noted that I'd be looking for something inexpensive that would get me through a few years. Bingo!!!! He told me about a new lot of tires he'd be getting in two days and gave me a very reasonable price. Sold! When I brought my car back, everyone there was great - let me know that I was next in line, directed me to where my car needed to be, etc. I walked down the street to pickup a few groceries, thinking that by the time I returned I'd only have to wait a little bit longer, but upon my return little Golfie had four new tires! WOO! The price was exactly what he'd told me it would be, and they even checked out my possibly bad spare...for free! Turns out my spare was fine...am I ever glad that I didn't listen to the dealer when they said my rim was bad and that it would be $300 for a new one with a tire! Jerks! For real, if you need new tires and if you're not afraid (cityfolk!) to venture to Everett, definitely head to Woody's. Pros: courteous, helpful, super-duper fast work Cons: location is a bit confusing for non-locals
