Review content:
This was our favorite place to bring our cars until about a year ago. Our family from South Carolina were visiting and needed their car washed. We recommended Carolina Auto Spa in Cary. Driving away after the car wash, my brother-in-law, Matt, discovered that his radar detector was missing. The suction mark left from the detector was still visible on his windshield and he was positive that it was in his car when he turned it over to the Spa. When he called the place, they denied that anyone there had taken it. Upon threatening to call the police and demanding that they find it by the time he returned, the radar detector ""miraculously"" turned up in one of their employee's ""locker."" The manager apologized and gave him a coupon for a free car wash. What a joke! He should have refunded him his money because there's no way he would be going back there for another car wash, free or otherwise. Matt asked to speak to the owner and had left many messages for him; however, the owner never returned any of his calls. Matt called the Cary Police to report the theft in hopes of preventing this from happening to any other customers; however, the Police pretty much told them that they didn't want to pursue this as they get all their squad cars washed for free there!
