Review content:
I was sent to Dr Detwiler for a root canal and they were great about fitting me right in. Her receptionist Marcy was really great but the procedure took 2 visits of 2 hours each and cost $1300 and the odd thing is that I only saw one other person the whole time. This was for a tooth that didn't have any evidence of decay or infection on x-ray. She seems fairly young so perhaps she just is still learning but it felt very weird to spend four hours laying in someone lap and not have either her or her assistant make a single comment to me. I was actually crying at one point and they were oblivious to it. \r

If you have great insurance or money is no object and you don't mind being treated like an object then go for it but a root canal in a molar by a regular dentist should only run about $800. I am not sure what I got for the extra $500 for a very straight forward simple root canal. Technically the work was fine but emotionally I have never felt so objectified in my life. I was just a tooth.
Pros: easy to get in, free parking,
Cons: expensive! she never tells you what she is doing, it took twice as long as my last root canal
