Review content:
My friends and I have ate at Cafe 290 many times over the years and like a lot of the things they have to offer from the big breakfast and pecan topped french toast to the CFS at lunch but if you can get there on Saturday night you gotta try the chicken parmesan. ""What?"" you say! "" ""Italian food at a country diner in Manor ?"" But I got a tell ya, the chicken breast was crispy on the out side, tender on the inside and smothered in a zesty marinara sauce and parmesan cheese. Better than the O.G. and some other italian restaurants I've been to. My friend had the spaghetti & meatballs and I had to sample from his plate. Good stuff at a good price, about $9 each with salad and garlic toast. Sadly, I couldn't get a glass of wine with dinner and I didn't have room for Meringue pie but I may order as take out next Saturday.
