Review content:
When I lived in Boone everyone wanted to come to Tweetsie. Nothing much has changed on my return trip after 10 years. The train is great - real and a nice length. The rest of the rides are carnival grade. The shows are laughable and the HORRIBLE ""show"" during the train ride needs to go. Other than that, it's a great place to take kids age 3 - 9. Anyone older will think it's pretty lame. Plenty of parking, nice hours and of course the mountain setting is gorgeous. I think the price is too high for what you get especially for adults. If you are a SECU member you can get discount tickets. Do it.
Pros: Great REAL train
Cons: so so food, fair rides, cheesy INDIAN show
