Review content:
I have been going to Burt Subaru for service since 2002. I have always been incredibly happy and trusting of the service I received...but then again my car was still under warranty. these past two visits have me swearing off dealer service shops and definiltey not visiting Groove for my next Subaru purchase. For my last visit we had an 8:30 appt for them to check out a noise my car had been making. they promised it would be a quick turnaround. After 1 hour with the car they came out telling me I needed two new DOJ axel boots since they were cracked and also that one of my pulleys on the drive belt was bad. Mind you while my car was under warranty i had asked that they replace BOTH pulleys so was shocked to hear that one was bad. Turns out they only replaced one before so now they were asking for $215 to go back in and what they choose not to do before. They were also asking $490 for the DOJ axel boots. Needless to say, I ran out of there, but not for another 1 hour while they pulled my car around and charged me $50. I then decided to take my car to Strictly Automotive based on reviews from CarTalk. They looked under the hood and pulled apart the pulleys and found that both of them looked NEW and when it came to the boots, it wasn't the DOJ boots, it was the steering column boot and only one, which they replaced for $175...a far cry from $490. The car is no longer making the noise, my checkbook is relatively full and I will never ever visit Groove Subaru again.\r
