After submitting a service request online my phone literally wrang in less than 2 minutes - it was Earl from Carpet Dryclean! He answered all my questions thoroughly and was very flexible in scheduling my cleaning service. I was concerned about the dark areas of my carpet that had developed from dust settling at the baseboards. I'd tried cleaning them myself with OxyClean with some improvement, but they were still very noticeable. Earl told me that they would do a test spot before starting the job so I could decide if I wanted to continue. On the day of service the cleaners did just this. The service lead, Victor, told me that he could improve dramatically on the dark areas, but that it may take a 2nd application to really make them fade out. After seeing what a huge improvement the 1st application made, I decided to purchase a bucket of the cleaner to keep at home - only $20 and next time the come they'll refill for free! The overall job came out fantastic! Pet stains gone. High traffic stains gone too. Believe it or not, we've been in our house for 7 years and never had the carpets professionally cleaned - only used the steam clean attachment our Kirby has on it. I'm impressed at how good the carpets look now, especially for stock builder carpet! I did the 2nd treatment along the baseboards the next day and the dark areas lightened even more to the point that they are not really noticeable (and I'm a detail kind of person). One thing to note - my husband & I detected a pretty strong alcohol smell while the work was being done. (I'm pregnant so my sense of smell is heightened). I asked Victor how long it would take for the smell to go away - he said it would be gone when they were gone. He was right! As soon as all the powder was vacuumed up the smell was gone. They even vacuumed the area rugs in my entryway and hallway before they left! My husband & I agree that we'll use Carpet Dryclean again.\r \r --Laura (North Raleigh) Pros: Very effective at removing stains Cons: Alcohol smell during cleaning process is strong
