Review content:
The NW Walk In Clinic was a nice experience in that the check in area is separate and private, the waiting area is very spacious, pretty, and even has tables to fill out your paperwork. The staff was nice and polite, but the doc was not so great. His bedside manner was uncaring and unconcerned.\r \r I was billed $140 to be told I had a virus...vs maybe a sinus infection or ear infection. He never looked in my ears or nose. He did look at my throat and the medical assistant did run a strep test, so perhaps that ruled out any infections...I don't know. But I left feeling that he had not done a complete exam, and just didn't care. \r \r I was very sick, had taken off of work, and had been exposed directly to an illness. I felt it had gone on long enough that I needed some treatment. He didn't offer any ideas or suggestions...not over the counter or otherwise.\r \r When I tried to question him....he was practically running out of the room, and did not seem to want to be bothered...like questions were not allowed. \r \r I made a comment to the check out gal that I didn't feel I got the proper care, and that he wouldn't listen to me...she did not even comment. No apology, nor help. \r \r It did turn out it was viral and went away on it's own. So, that was good, but no thanks to his incomplete care. Nor do I like that attitude of indifference. \r \r He's in the wrong field...maybe urgent care is not his thing! I don't recall his name...he was an older man...and looked tired or out of it himself. Perhaps that explained some of his behavior...but I suspect he is like that anyway.\r \r Let's hope they have other docs on staff. \r \r I am thinking I won't go back. I would wait it out and go to my PCP the next day.\r \r Thanks for listening.
