We were shown a great vacant apartment and told we would receive money off our first month but when we decided to rent, the apartment we had just been shown was suddenly ""not available"" They tried to get us to rent one sight unseen, stating it was exactly like the one we were shown, but we pressed them to let us view the actual one we would live in and it had no fireplace and dirty carpet with bad quality appliances. They then agreed to let us have a different apartment stating everything would be new and updated so we settled on it b/c we only had 2 days to make a decision (our house was ruined in hurricane Ike and we were relocating here to Dallas). Within the 1st 2 days the kitchen flooded, the bathroom flooded, the dishwasher was broken and the a/c stopped working. The place was in terrible condition and you could tell it had not been completely re-painted as we were told it would be. When I called the office to discuss my concerns the leasing staff was VERY RUDE and snobby, then I tried to speak to the manager and she was even MORE argumentative and rude. We really got taken for a ride and will be leaving as soon as this lease is up but don't want to break the lease b/c it will go against our credit. BOTTOM LINE -- DONT BE MISLEAD LIKE WE WERE, THIS COMMUNITY IS A JOKE!!!!
Pros: No Pros, even the pools and hot tubs are not kept clean enough to use.
Cons: Everything except some of the maintenance staff
