Review content:
I have never been so outraged by a company. We opted to go with a local small business owner to do the replacement windows of our home. The installation guys were great--but they were general contractors. The actual company and owner/office manager Erik and Elke have no sense of service. For example, we were told that we would have free replacement screens for the life of the windows. That was one of the reasons we went with the company. When we called not even 6 months later (b/c several screens had come loose) they told me they would charge us $45 to fix them. We have tried calling back to discuss this at least 4 times and have not had one return call to date. Another example--when we were trying to schedule the window installation, Elke or Erik never called to confirm anything...ever. *I* called them to confirm the installation the night before, only to be told that they contractors were backed up due to weather and they would not be coming for a few more days. Was glad I called so as not to have to take 2 days off from work. \r The windows themselves are fine, but working with Colorado Window and Door means you will deal with a company who fails to communicate on the most basic levels and who does not hold true to the sales ""pitch"" they claim. Cons: Horrific customer service, low quality screens
