Review content:
buyers beware. i had the oil changed in my truck a few weeks ago. i have been a regular customer for two years for all three of my vehicles. on this last oil change, i drove for two days for a total of 44 miles and when i was returning from work one night, the engine seized up on me. i pulled off the side of the road, about 1230 am and got a ride home. the next morning i had my truck towed to the dealership where i purchased it 5 years earlier. they checked the truck out and found no oil andno oil filter. i immediately called speedee and spoke with the manager, tiny. he advised me that since i had it towed to another location, the ""warranty"" was now null and void. what warranty ? nothing on my receipt said anything about a warranty. tiny was not willing to accept responsibility for the damage, $4800 +. I tried to contact the owner by phone, mr. al thompson, who told the young man who did answer the phone that tiny will handle my issue. i finally went by personally and was met by mr. thompson, who did not know who i was. he said that he would look at the truck and get back to me. that was two weeks ago. the dealership is getting impatient and wants to either fix the truck or get it off of the property. i will be going to the williamsburg courthouse on 15 july to file a civil *******against mr. thompson and speedee for the cost of repairs to my truck. i strongly recommend that you do not use this facility. they made a mistake and are not willing to own up to it. it is obvious that the mechanic did not tighten the oil filter and the vibration most likely caused it to become loose and fall off.
Cons: poor work (engine seized up)
