Their Service Department is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! Period.\r \r Took my vehicle in a few months ago for routine servicing prior to a trip that was expected to cost under $200 (quoted as such by the Service Advisor). Hours later I got a call from Service Advisor stating that several mechanical components were needing to be replaced. Ended up paying almost $2000.\r Took the replaced parts to an ASE-certified Ford technician (not at Ford of Kirkland) and discovered that 75% of the items did not require replacement.\r \r Then.......I took our vehicle back in just recently for an intermittent transmission shifting problem that suddenly appeared. I thought I'd give them another chance. BIG MISTAKE!!\r \r The Service Advisor almost immediately said that the internals were broken, the transmission was irrepairable, and that we would need to pay $3000 for a rebuilt transmission.\r \r After paying over $100 for their ""evaluation"" of the transmission problem I immediately removed the vehicle from Ford of Kirkland and went to a local, and very reputable, transmission shop.\r \r The problem ended up being a minor component that had failed and the entire repair cost me less than $300.\r \r That is THE LAST TIME I will ever take any vehicle into Ford of Kirkland.\r \r CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! They are liars, scammers and rip-off artists.\r
