Review content:
I read some reviews about Rooneys' and took my husband there for our anniversary. It has a quiet, quaint, European feel and the prices were so-so on the expensive side. On the positive side, it was way more quiet than Sevrinos and Sam's. I have a couple negative comments though. The Pear Endive salad was beyond small, there was enough for about 2 small bites I had the same salad at a SOnoma Co restaurant last week and it was enough for 6 people to share. Also, the service was professional but too stiff, I felt like I was at a military academy, ""Yes, Maam, thank you"" for everything was a bit much. I little more warm and friendly would have been more pleasant.\r
The main dish was a sufficient size though and very tasty, we had the African Chicken and the Sole in butter sauce.\r
I would recommend it still though.
