Review content:
I heard good things about Susie M's so, after years of delay, went to them to get my first tattoo.\r
It was a pretty basic custom tattoo but could not be altered in any way or it lost all meaning.\r
\r
He stuck the copy on my arm, seemed pretty confident about it and got started on what should've been done in under an hour.\r
\r
About an hour in he stopped and had a more senior artist take over because he ""lost control"" of his hand.\r
I was worried, but hoped that the mistake was minor as it was apparently almost finished.\r
\r
After 3 hours I was told to take a look and found that the lines were inconsistent in thickness, not smooth, and that at some point someone's hand had clearly slipped and ruined part of the design. The senior artist (who I believe would've done a good job had they done it alone) was very apologetic and explained that they'd done what they could with what had already been done.\r
\r
I went for a cigarette and tried to alter the design without affecting the meaning. I thought I came up with a workable solution (though definitely not at all preferred) so he finished up in another 30 minutes.\r
\r
They agreed to only charge me the deposit and I left. On my way I noticed a serious error in the design (equate-able to spelling a name incorrectly!) and went back to demand the rest of my money after having a good cry about it. This is not fixable without having it lazered and hopefully only touched up but probably completely re-done by someone else.\r
When I got back I was told to ""go f*ck myself"" and they said I couldn't have my money back. I refused to leave. Jed then marched in to get my deposit and the form I signed to show me - I took it the money and left.\r
\r
My tattoo looks like it was done by a child and is meaningless.\r
I would be very wary of recommending you ever go there. After being scarred and treated so unprofessionally I am going to find it very hard to ever get a tattoo again.\r
\r
Jed is unskilled, unprofessional and unapologetic.
Pros: None. Wouldhave paid much more for better work.
Cons: Totally unprofessional customer service, bad tattoo.
