My daughter has attended Come Sit With Me since she was 7 months and I can tell you from experience that their discipline style is totally in line with current thinking and not at all as Roxana describes. Trust me, if your child bites another kid, they are not going to bite him/her back! If a child does something incorrect, the unacceptable behavior is stopped and the child is give an age-appropriate ""time out"". Then it is discussed with the child (again, at an appropriate level) and then the child must apologize to whomever he/she has hurt and give them a hug.
Thanks in their part to her teacher's efforts, my daughter is a very happy and well-adjusted 2 1/2 year old who gets along beautifully with other children. I really could not say enough good things about the care she has received at Come Sit With Me!
