Businiess name:  American Iron & Metal Co Inc

Review content:
American Iron & Metal called me up while I was on vacation to verify that the title bearing my name that a young man was trying use to sell his car was not fake. When I immediately called them back, they did not say anything over the phone. So I said ""Hello, this is rj and YOU called me...."" and still no response. Again I said ""You call ME...."" and they finally said that they suspected that someone was trying to sell my car using a fake title. I told them that title with my name on it was legitimate and since it was in perfect condition, I could not understand why they would think it was not legitimate. They then said ""well we think the signatures are forged because they all look the same...."" and I assured them that the signatures were legitimate and I did not understand how the buyer and sellers handwriting could possibly look the same to them. Then they said ""well we suspect something suspicious anytime a child comes in to sell a car...."" and I them that the young man who now owns the vehicle is not a child but a full grown adult. Then they said ""well it doesn't matter because we told him a better place where he could sell his vehicle..."" At this time, I said that it sounded to me that American Iron & Metal looked at the young man and based solely on his physical appearance pegged him as a thief and this is why they would not buy his vehicle....""
