Such a GREAT shop!
I'm so glad I found this shop. It was recommended to me by a colleague who has had a lot of things framed for our company. I had some portraits (oil paintings) of my daughters done last year and finally needed to frame them. I checked out some of the art supply/craft stores, but did not feel comfortable leaving expensive and irreplaceable art with them. I know it sounds snobby, but I just don't like having to make my way through crowded, over-stuffed aisles to get to the frame department. Anyway, this shop is small and cozy, but she has an unbelievable selection. I had no idea there were so many types of frames and we must have tried them all. In the end I went with the very first one she showed me, which we both got a kick out of. :) She also has a lot of framed samples on the wall, which is a great way to get ideas and see the quality of her work. My frames were ready by the following weekend, and absolutely perfect! While I was there, a regular customer dropped off some small prints and just told the owner to ""work her magic"". It is really nice to have a shop like this to go to, where you get to work with the owner, who does really good work and does not charge an arm and a leg.
