Review content:
The staff was friendly and helpful the week before my father's service.\r
On the day of the funeral the mourners arrived at the time given to the cemetery. The funeral director had stopped the hearse just past the entrance and directed the other cars to wait behind. Evidently the grave had not been completely prepared when he got there. Once the last mourner arrived, everyone proceeded to the grave. The backhoe was still parked by the grave. There was no tent or chairs set up and the vault was setting on the ground nearby. Because of the equipment and dirt, the interrment ceremony had to be performed in the cemetery drive.\r
For this ""graveside service"" the cemetery charged $150 over and above the cost of everything else and threatened to charge and additional $150 per half hour if we showed up a minute late.\r
Neither the funeral director nor the officiating pastor had seen anything like it and we are currently in the process of trying to recover some of the expenses.
Pros: Nicely landscaped historic cemetery
Cons: When service was needed the most, it wasn't there
