Positive: Their service was great. They were really efficient, when they got there.
NEGATIVE: Their quote was way off!
They showed up to load extremely late.
They showed up to delivery hours before we were scheduled, so we weren't even there yet.
One of the workers went to the ER for abdominal pain so there was only one guy. He did a great job but it took forever. When it came time to carry the heavy stuff upstairs he had my husband help him. We thought it would be a couple of things but once he started helping the guy took full advantage of it. (can't really blame him though) My husband spent a few hours helping him pack things up the stairs and assemble furniture - all things that we paid THEM to do. I tried calling multiple times to be refunded for the work but always got transferred to a number with a full mail box. After a ton of persistence I finally got through. The manager brushed me off and simply told me I needed to file a claim. So I went through all the paperwork, sent it in, and heard nothing. I called often to check on the status. They kept saying that everything was paid in full. I told the claim lady about our situation and she said that they aren't allowed to ask for help because it's a legal issue. She said she would email the company again and see what they said. After weeks of calling in and waiting, the claim lady finally got an email saying once again that everything was paid in full. So they pretty much just ran with our money. I know it's not their fault that their guy went to the ER but they should have had a back up man to call and not had my husband help. If we wanted to pack things of up flights of stairs we wouldn't have hired them in the first place. I just think it's wrong that they won't even refund us just a little bit.
Side Note: If anything breaks or is damaged in the move they have a nice list of things that they won't cover, some of which are: appliances, electronics, glass, plywood, boxes packed by shipper, glass etc.... In other words if something breaks deal with it because they could careless.
