Review content:
Our first impression of Golden Corral in Anderson, SC was not a very good one. The cashier greeted us with a toothpick in the corner of his mouth. He sucked the whole pick back into his mouth when he said, ""Two buffets?"" Then when we paid, there was no ""thank you, have a nice meal, or anything."" We had to ask, ""Do we seat oursevles?"" Our answer was, ""Yeah"". Our server was no better. No smile. Food was mediocre. Children screaming. Man in tank top with hair hanging out all over digging in the fried chicken with his hands. When we left the cashier had a silverware container on top of his head, held on by a rubber band. Looked like an organ grinder's monkey. This experience soured me on Golden Corral and it had once been one of my favorite buffets. Nothing can be done about the patrons; however, the employees need to be trained a little better in food service operations and working successfully with customers. We travel extensively and oftern eat at Golden Corral, but never again!
