This was our first and last experience with Pleasant Valley Boarding in Chillicothe, OH.\r

They lack in customer service and they gave us the impression that they simply did not care about us and our dog, a sweet golden retriever. When we first called to get information on the kennel, we were very well treated, but after we dropped our dog at the kennel and phoned a few other times, the owner could not care less about our situation. We had a flat tire when coming back to pick our dog up from Cincinnatti and we were knew we were going to run about 10 minutes late when picking him up. I called the kennel and asked the owner if he could wait 10 extra minutes and I even offered to pay an extra night for the 10-minute waiting, the owner simply did not care. There was mock in his tone of voice.\r
When we gave him a last call, ten minutes before they were supposed to close, there was no answer.\r

Beware. I surely do not recommend this kennel if you trully care about your dog.\r
There are other options around the Chillicothe area.
Pros: They are great actors when answering the phone. At first they seem like very nice people.
Cons: They couldn't care less about your pet.
