Review content:
this place has the worst dietary department I have ever seen. there have been numerous days where the advertised menu is not followed and there has been many substitutions made without prior notice. as a resident here, I have seen this more than I care to remember. they pass menu's out to the residents a week in advance and then on any specific day, that item is not available. the dept. manager obviously has no prior experience ensuring resident satisfaction. and there must be a way to get better cooks to prepare the food. some of the things they send down to us to eat are literally garbage. the state should really look into this dept and find out whose qualified to prepare these meals. i have no doubt they would find several violations and quite a few people who have no business preparing food. I did meet a gentleman who was a cook here who was very professional and who provided several enjoyable meals for me and my roommate. i was recently informed that he got fired, that was a terrible mistake, this place could use more people like him and his professional experience. thank you Lewis for all you did for me during my stay. you were the best. I can only hope this dept get overhauled soon and gets a complete makeover, after all it is only a one star nursing home and things can get a whole lot better.
