Businiess name:  Ray's Restaurant

Review content:
Lots of places in this region brag about good food, but one tires quickly of everything fried and over salted. Not to mention unkempt, darkly lit or too loud. Not this gem. I visited Ray's for two weekends in a row, and was quite suprised that someone in such a small town actually knew how to prepare food, staff and otherwise run an excellent little eatery. On our first visit, The fresh oyster and gently-seasoned shrimp cocktail appetizers whetted our desire for the entree. The Chateaubriand was flawless, and well presented. Plus, Ray's actually knew how to make a baked alaska! The second visit allowed us to experience what a pizza is SUPPOSED to taste like. Handcut ingredients on a pizza make all the difference. Additionally, the wait staff was professional and was there to attend our every need. The dining area is small, yet comfortable and tastefully decorated. In my opinion, this place rates as close to 5 stars as any place in a 100 mile radius, so you really want to have a real dining experience, make reservations and try this restaurant. Pros: Masterful food preperation, professional unobtrusive staff Cons: Not close enough to my home.
