Review content:
I am on the fence about Rhonda's closet. The shop is cute and since I live in Carmel Valley, it's convenient to have a place to run in, if I don't have time to get to the mall. But, the flip side is that ""Rhonda"" and her staff are so rude. I don't feel comfortable shopping in the store, and it seems like they're really only friendly to the locals who shop there all the time, and spend tons of money. I've made a few purchases, usually cheap accessories--nothing special--mostly impulse buys. The clothing items she carries are found at any department store--nothing special. I guess I go into the store for the experience of shopping in a boutique and coming away with something different, something fun, and something not everyone else has--that isn't the case here. What would make me keep going back is if the staff were friendly and didn't leave me standing at the register like some sort of unimportant nuisance while they tried to ignore me by fidgeting with other things in the store. I agree with another reviewer who said to hit the shops in Del Mar Heights--or just go to the mall. Spare yourself the humiliation of being frowned upon for not spending enough money.
I'm certain Rhonda probably wrote the wonderfully positive--yet embarrassingly grammatically incorrect reviews herself.
