Best movers in Van Nuys for sure! I've moved with Starving Students 3 times and every experience has been better than the last. They charge an hourly rate but its lower than most companies. They don't have a bunch of hidden feels like stairs or long carries for local moves. If you hire a 3rd man, its like 30 bucks. Some companies that I've called charge 100 for the 3rd man. And they take credit cards at no additional charge. They give you wardrobe boxes for the move and the truck and dollies are included. Every time I moved with them, the guys were super fast. I disagree with a previous review here -- Had a great experience with Eddie. He's organized and he gets crew to the job on time. My only criticism: I wish that they would move grand pianos.
