This gym's location was perfect for stopping in after work so my husband and I took a short little tour after seeing an special advertised on TV and signed up. We headed in the very next day to work out, and began noticing after much closer scrutiny that the equipment was run down and dirty-we had to sterilize everything we touched. As we entered parts of the gym that were not included in the tour we saw that ceiling tiles were missing and that there was insulation and bare wires hanging down . We asked the manager if they were remodling and he told us that due to heavy snow fall had a roof leak that was being worked on. Our next visit 2 days later no work had been done on the ceiling damage so we opted to try the pool. The water was filthy and you could see debris floating about so we decided not to get in. I asked for the Manager a second time, but we were told that he was outside smoking a cigarette on his break. We made several attempts afterward to enjoy our membership, but this was establishment was run very poorly and everything was so unorganized that none of the classes were held according the the schedule- they had little disclaimer notices hand written on notebook paper all over the gym, most of the equipment was either broken or seriously in need of repair. One Month after signing their ridiculous contract I was involved in a car accident and was in phyical therapy for almost a year....they refused to release us of the contract. We used the facility four times in 30 days and were absolutely disgusted by thier substandard sanitation and business practices. The owners/managers of this facility are nothing by dirty con-artists that will lie and decieve the public to get them to sign their membership contracts. BEWARE!!! DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT!!!! Global fitness is jsut down the road...a little more money, but clean and ran by professionals interested in the health and fitness of thier members.
