we were going to another restaurant on a beach resort on a friday night because we had a restaurant.com coupon, and apparently if they arent pulling enough business they just shut the doors even before closing time. unthinkable. so on our way there, i saw an italian restaurant that caught my eye that wasnt sandwiched in a strip mall, or didnt have a name like 'big fat paulies' or 'big mikes'. i hate that.\r \r we stopped in a it was everything we wanted. the top of the menu states clearly that they dont have any microwaves and that everything they serve is freshly made on premises, even the pasta. excellent food, neat and clean appearance, and modestly priced.\r \r i was going to go with something else that caught my eye, but once i saw that EVERYTHING from this place is freshly made i decided to go back to the basics and get the spaghetti and meatballs, excellent. my girlfriend had the sausage and broccoli penne which was also simple and refreshingly good.\r \r all told: 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine, plus a generous tip was around $50. well worth it to me.
