Review content:
I had a bad experience with this salon. I had a bad haircut that was pretty much the exact opposite of what I requested. I understand this can happen, but when I spoke to the owner to request a refund, she refused. She stated that since I did not give her a chance to fix the problem, and since I used a groupon, she could not refund what I paid. I had already told the stylist that I didn't like the cut, which he did nothing about because he needed to get on to the next client. I also called the salon later that day to discuss having the cut fixed, but a manager was not in. So I had my hair fixed at another salon later that day - who, by the way, agreed that the haircut didn't look good. The next day, I called Salon Gity and reached the owner to discuss getting a refund, and this is when she refused. How about refunding the whopping $30 to a customer who clearly had a bad cut rather than accusing them of not giving the salon a chance to fix it? It would be different if I had gone straight to another salon without 1) telling the stylist that I wasn't pleased with the cut or 2) calling to discuss with a manager. Let's work on customer service if you want to keep your business running! By the way, Groupon very willingly refunded the $30 that the salon wouldn't refund when I explained what happened. The salon then offered to give me styling products in leiu of a refund, but I needed to bring in a receipt, which I was not given. \r

I see a few other reviews related to poor customer service when clients weren't satisfied so it doesn't look like I'm alone in feeling this way!
