My first visit was very welcoming. It is a traditional Church of Christ service, but not the traditional views ( the view that: ""we are the only ones going to heaven"" is not preached here). Sermon is in keeping with Churches of Christ in that views expressed are based on scripture and scripture is read in context. Song service is A Capella and song books are used in conjunction with overhead.
I talked to the elders about the 1 star rating from a user on ""citysearch."" They changed their Sunday evening service times and haven't updated the many databases that are used to search for churches in the area. This is due to the church leadership not finding a suitable replacement because of the untimely(?) death of their technology person. They are in the process of contacting and changing their advertised service times.
I think it is disheartening that one user would rate this church with 1 star. It is not representative of the congregation at all. My experience was 5 stars, but parking is tough.
