Review content:
this place will make you feel like you are on a vacation far away from the hustle and bustle of new york city! i went with my brother and his fiance this past saturday. we left the city at around 7 and got to the restaurant at 7:45 just in time to see the sun setting on the water. we had a long wait for our table, but it didnt bother us because we sat on the beach drank some cocktails and watched the fireworks that the locals were setting off. it was extremely pleasant just waiting to be seated. the staff was very friendly as well. once we were seated the food came right away...it was delicious! the steamers were supurb! the steamed lobster was good, not excellent, but good enough to enjoy. my brother's fiance got the fried jumbo shrimp and they were fabulous! the desserts were also above average. we got the hot molten chocolate cake and it was awesome...and the apple crisp was enjoyable as well. i really dont have anything bad to say about this place. i was relaxed and not stressed for the whole experience...once i got back to the city afterwards i was wishing i was back at the beach! i highly recommend this place to anyone who want to escape the city for a bit, great for couples, groups of friends and anyone else! i will definitely go back there before summers end!
Pros: ambiance, cheap booze, food
