My girlfriend and I came to this restaurant to see what the fuss is all about. We were impressed. The food was tasty and we came home with 2 regular bottles of BBQ sauce and a jumbo (gallon) bottle. We took it home with us to LA and made BBQ ribs for my girlfriend's family and friends in SD. It was a hit!
The menu was easy to follow and no-nonsense. The house root beer was wonderful, the jumbo potato was grand, and the ribs, pulled pork, and chicken with their signature BBQ sauce were incredible. We drove back to our hotel saying how glad we were for checking it out (we drove all the way over to Gilbert from shopping at Scottsdale earlier that day). When we come back to the Phoenix area, we'll be back at Joe's Real BBQ.
The BBQ sauce is tangy, tasty, and terrific!
