Review content:
The Citadel West is centrally located in Colorado Springs nearby the Citadel Mall. The price is low but there is a reason for this. Paper thin walls don't block any noise, the electrical sockets are old and the plugs fall out, they do not clean in between tenants, all appliances are old and run down, and lots of things are broken. When I moved in there was dirt piles in the kitchen floor and cigarette burns on the tile and carpeting. The carpets were so stained the original color was hardly recognizeable. The hall closet is missing part of the track and doesn't close right and the kitchen and bathroom counters are discolored. Personal items and trash were left from the previous tenant. The upkeep of the place is just awful and the management expects you to follow all of their rules to a t. Don't move here if at all possible.
