Tara's Cafe in historic downtown Belton Mo is one of the hiddden treasures in the metro area. The breakfast hour is a must do...popular with the locals and the food is yummy from the gravy and biscuits to the healthier option of oatmeal. Lunch has the familiar and trusted standbys as well as a great special each day (try the egg salad sandwiches and the Santa Fe soup). Friday nights are the best with a fish fry from 5pm to 8pm. Piping hot and delicious. The owner and her family do an amazing job.
