I emailed to inquire about this gym, then the next day went to take a tour. I was told no one could give me one or even discuss membership except ONE person and he wasn't there... they asked if I could 'come back another time.' Uh, no thanks. The exact same thing happened to a friend of mine! If no one there is capable (or trusted) to even let prospective members see the facility, it's a huge red flag. I joined another gym. By the way, Rain sends out lots of mail advertising, spending money to get leads, but they obviously don't know how to treat people who take the time and trouble to come see the place. PS - sure looks like lots of 'management-generated' positive reviews here... same bubbly tone, overuse of the word 'great' to describe everything, lack of authentic details, and is it just coincidence that there was a huge number of these bubbly reviews, ALL 5 star, written in the same short time frame (late 2011) even though reviews on here go back to '07?? And, all the negative reviews are heavily marked 'not helpful' (suspicious, right?) even though they give extensive details why the review is negative. How is that not helpful unless you're writing reviews on behalf of management?
