The owner is awful. She's a busy body and just all around ignorant terrible person. Knew what everyone staying there was doing and told us all about it. I'm sure she then told everyone else our business. The place we rented was listed as a 6 person, however you could only put 5 people in the place at the price listed and to get the 6th person in you had to pay another $55. And while the website claims it's the only waterfront cottages on the lake, that's blatantly untrue. It's across the street and up a side road. AND the closest water to the place is a no swimming area. She's insane about parking and literally made my cousin repark her car because she didn't like the way she did it. And when I tried turning the grill on, hit the starter button twice, it didn't work so I went inside. By the time I was in the cottage she was on out porch lighting the grill for me and informing me the grill top cannot be left on the deck there are specific handles to hang it from. I did not read the 3 inch binder of information. Oh and lets not forget the fire/carbon monoxide alarm going off at 2am. Yet somehow the busy body didn't run out when that happened to 'help' us out. And she clearly heard it as well as the poor people in the other cottages. No discount was given when we complained. I highly recommend not staying here ever. Cute places too, too bad she's such a downfall for this place.
