If you are interested in volunteering with the Stop AIDS project, first off you should check out their website at http://www.stopaids.org/
After you've read the mission statement (The mission of the STOP AIDS Project is to prevent HIV transmission among all gay, bisexual and transgender men in San Francisco through collaborative and multicultural, community- based organizing) then I think you should contact Dan Ledoux who organizes volunteer efforts. They could use assistance in a variety of ways. You could get trained and work on a regular basis with the project, or even on a one-time basis if they need help with fundraisers or events.
