I was really excited to move into our first home...until we had to deal with these movers. We had basically one weekend to move in, and they knew it. At noon on Friday the day before the move Affordable Movers called us and increased the price by $375!!!!!! They waited until the very last minute to push us into a corner. Now we have to scramble to find new movers at the last minute or accept their jacked up price. Affordable movers have practices that are dishonest, disrespectful and fraudulent. I know the moving industry is difficult to deal with, but these guys are the worst of the worst.
