Sinced it was considerably overpriced compared to Montery and Canterbury Apartments, I thought it would be much nicer than the other places. Not only was I wrong, I started discovering a lot of broken things: My Sliding Glass Doors do not close all the way, allowing insects to enter, AC and Heat to escape (which causes expensive electric bills), and since they wont close all the way, it makes the ambient and neighbor noises alot louder. I called the maintenence guy, he looked at them and said "" This complex was made in the 1970's, all of the sliding glass doors are like that. They cannot be fixed. You're just going to have to make do with it."" Very loud and inconsiderant neighbors, my wife and I get woken up several times in the night, then 432am every morning, and then the final time at 648am every morning. The neighbors are so loud that I can hear them from my bathroom with all doors and windows closed. I have called the office time and time again, and I even have 6 video clips with audio recording all the noise and the office still will not do anything to help. Im stuck here till December, but I asked if we can leave early since we can't get any sleep. They told us that if we leave early, We lose our security deposit, the pet deposit (wife has small cat), and on top of that, we would have to PAY them an extra 3 months of rent. Also, in some apartments (like mine) you get charged and extra $10 to $20 per month for having an extra window. I didnt even want this stupid window, and its just for the window, these apartments arent bigger or anything. \r

More noise: There are a lot of dogs here, which never bothered me until I saw that no one ever cleans up after them and lets them go in the lawn. Dont go in the grass unless yolu feel like stepping in it. The main problem is that so many people here own dogs, so the dogs bark all hours, and the other dogs here them, so they bark too, and it turns into a nonstop barking session that is loud in every room I go into. They bark at night, morning, day, week day, weekend...IT doesnt matter, you're going to hear lots of loud barking here...Period, and mostof the time, the barking is louder than my TV and stereo.\r

Infestations: On the outside, there are a lot of wasps on the corners by the apartment doors along with the nests. They make it inside from time to time when you open your door, The wasps are nothing compared to the Brown Widows though. They are everywhere here and are very poisonous. One was on the floor in the kitchen and I almost stepped on it. Thank God the cat found it and started swatting at it. Dont know what a brown widow is? Look it up, you're going to need to if you move in here. Also, a lot of insects seem to make it through these shoddy windows, even though I'm on the second floor. \r
3 of the pull out drawers above the cabinets broke and dumped the contents out. The pools look nice, but we go to the beach instead because they charge to use it ( I dont remember how much). \r
Frequent power outages make me have to reset all clocks and be late when it resets the alarm clock while sleeping. Dont get a computer if you live here because the power outages will ruin it.

Cons: Overpriced. Very Noisy. Huge Lease Termination Penalty
