Review content:
I have been to Ortanique about 6 times and have yet to be disappointed. The chef knows how to pair foods and compliment flavors. The service is always good, particularly the men who bus the tables. I have to disagree with the member who thought the mojitos were excellent. I found my mojito to be overpowered by the rum and couldn't finish the entire thing. Any fish dish here is absolutely delicious, as is the filet mignon and the venison. You MUST save room for dessert. The banquets are a nice place to spend a more romantic evening, but you definitely need to make a reservation and request to be seated there. I realize the price tag may be significantly higher than Houston's across the way, but when you consider the quality, I think Ortanique is a much greater value.
