I don't know what these people are talking about, I have only been to this place a few times, and I LOVED IT! As you can tell from my user name, I am a picky eater. I eat out at a sit down restaurant a minimum of 2 times a week (too busy to cook at home). I have eaten at 5 star restaurants all around the world and I love this place. Right on the water, great view (except for the 81 overpass) and great service. The first time I went to this place was summer of '08-then I could agree with the other reviewer that the salad bar was pretty bland, but I made a suggestion and the last couple times I have been there it was much better. The menu offers a lot, but not a lot of vegetarian if you are into that sort of thing, and I will warn, some stuff is seasonal (like the chili) even though it doesn't say it on the menu. Was kind of bummed when I ordered it last summer and they told me they didn't have any. First two times at this place was summer and it was packed-the waitresses were a little frazzled and the wait was understandably longer than usual, but if you can't enjoy the view while you are waiting, then stay home. When I went last weekend it was empty-I asked the waitress why, and she said most people tell her they didn't even know the place is open in the winter. I was with a party of 11 people, most ordered the buffet and every one of them loved it. As I am a picky eater, I got seafood, lobster tail, scallops, crab legs, yum! It was cooked EXACTLY the way I asked-scallops broiled with garlic, parsley and a splash of wine, and a pinch of old bay seasoning on my lobster tail (which is not the way they normally do it) the chef did an amazing job! I love places that accommodate!!! Waitress was incredible, could tell she had been doing it for years, she was working the restaurant, bar, and some event in the front banquet room-not a huge amount of people, but definitely a lot of space to cover, I couldn't do it! Can't wait till summer comes, I will absolutely be coming back to this place again!
