Not all boarders are asked to leave this terrible boarding facility. Maybe they just realized how bad things were getting and decided to leave. Yes there are boarders that have been there for a long time and they will tell you that its a good place and it was when I first got there. They are blind to the abuse or think nothing is wrong with the conditions there. This barn also has a lot of long term boarders that drink together and have a good time, if they are all friends maybe their judgement might be clouded a bit. That doesn't mean that if they removed their horse it would have a dramatic effect on the horses behavior and personality. Mine changed, for the good, shinier coat, more friendly, and a fatter belly! These are all reasons enough for me that I made the right decision. When I left it wasn't because I didn't follow the rules and was asked to. It was because I could get a better quality of care for my horse somewhere else and peace of mind. I chose to value my horses life! The people that are ""Long Term Boarders"" are either blind to the abuse or don't think that what goes on there is wrong. Its that simple.
