I was able to rent a truck from Julie and Don and was very pleased with my experience. I've done several Uhaul truck rentals in my time (too many to count) and this was my first experience of having someone actually inspect the interior of the truck, noticed it wasn't clean, and sweep it out for me. The cabin of the truck was impeccable (I didn't fear putting my purse on the floor!) and when I was finished Julie emailed me a receipt for my records - something I did not request, nor have I received in the past. When I did move my items into one of their storage units, they offered to reserve one of the elevators for me. This way, I wouldn't have to wait for the elevator each time I went up or down with the cart (my unit is on the second floor). The floors are always clean, the trashes emptied. Even the woman who works on Julie and Don's day(s) off is knowledgable, efficient and pleasant. For those of us who do prefer good customer service, and are willing to go a bit farther out for it, this is your place. I live in Louisville with a storage place a half mile down the road. However, I chose this place because of its cleanliness and the personable owners (they know many of their renters by first name) The rental rates are competitive as well and you do not need to bring your own lock (as is the case with many other storage places - all units utilize cylinder locks). Overall, two thumbs way up.
