OK, rented this apartment almost entirely on price. For the size, its a great value. Over 800 square ft for less than $550 a month, and close to 75/285 ---thats a great deal, right? BUT you get what you pay for. things are always breaking, closet doors do not close all the way, it is constantly invaded with EVERY kind of pest. ants, roaches....a POSSOM!!! Some very shady neighbors made me think that credit/history check they did for pre-lease was not very thorough. There are also some very nice neighbors too though... and at least everyone seems to get along well. Never too noisy...and like i said before close to everything. Still, my appliances are always breaking, and worst of all, when there is a service call, they will not send anyone out for a week, then when you call back to see why it hasnt been fixed yet, someone in the office will then say ""I dont have any record here for a service request...let me put your name down!"" This has happened to me THREE times. Now when i need help, i have to physically walk into the office each day until the work is done, just so it WILL get done. Cable is always going out (according to comcast this is because of cheap wiring in the complex.) And the parking lot is very poorly lit. VERY hard to see at night, which is also a little scary--- this is Atlanta afterall!! Signature place is a good place to live if you are dead broke, and desperate. But if you can possibly live ANYWHERE else.... I say, do so.
