Review content:
We contracted with Debbie's Designs for my wedding, which was supposed to take place on August 28-- the date that Hurricane Irene sadly hit the NYC metro area. Even before the unfortunate weather events which derailed our wedding, Debbie was a nightmare to work with. She didn't return telephone calls or emails, refused to give us a breakdown on the price of items we had contracted for, and was prone to major mood swings. However, it was what happened when we were forced to postpone our wedding that really revealed not just what an unethical business person Debbie is, but what a awful human being she is as well. Debbie became angry when we had to postpone the wedding several weeks, but agreed to provide flowers for our new wedding date. Then 11 days before the new date, Debbie called and demanded we pay an additional $3000 or wouldn't provide flowers for our wedding. The call culminated with Debbie screaming and hanging up on my mother. She has also kept our $1000 deposit despite providing us with no good or services to date. She may have some creative ideas and pretty samples, but it is nothing you cannot find elsewhere and certainly not worth the awful customer service. Please do not patronize this business.
