Let me preface this review: As a new resident to the New Orleans Metro Area, I knew nothing about the salons. Right before Christmas, I phoned several, finally finding one that would take me. It was a horrible experience. It almost ruined my life. Bad cut, bad service, bad everything. I was miserable with my new cut. The review starts here: Upon walking into Kenneth's Salon in Metairie, as a walk-in for brow waxing, they handed me off to Amy. We started chatting and I decided right then that she would be my stylist. Now, fast forward to when I needed my hair cut. Finally, after being disgusted, still, with the previous cut, I decided I was tired of trying to fix hair that was just BLAH. Amy got me right in, looked at my hair, and explained what was WRONG with my hair from the previous place. I was completely at ease with her experience, professionalism, and understanding of exactly what I wanted done to my hair. She not only fixed the mistakes of the previous person, but truly gave me the cut that fit ME. I've not been this happy with a hair style in some time. Additionally, the staff of Kenneth's is superb. I am always greeted with a smile. Overall, the misery of my Christmas salon experience is erased as I realize that it led me to a wonderful stylist. Amy is skilled, friendly, and, possibly, the best stylist I've visited. Thank you, Amy! I've never been happier!
