Review content:
The Muffler Clinic gave me a price quote of $900 for the cost of an exhaust manifold (not including labor). I called many places and looked on many websites to check this price, as it seemed a little exorbitant. Of all the places I looked, the most expensive exhaust manifold I could find was one directly from the dealership, and their price was $420....less than half the price I was quoted from Muffler Clinic. Additionally, I was told that my faulty exhaust manifold ""melted"" the hydraulic hose between my master and slave cylinders and that I would need to purchase the entire assembly (instead of just the hose) and have it all replaced. Price quote for the assembly: $277. The truth though is that the hose is available by itself for $79. I was also told that my oxygen sensor needed to be replaced and that the price for the part would be $95. The truth is that the oxygen sensor did not need replacing, and even if it did, oxygen sensors for my vehicle cost $65. I'm so glad that I chose not have the work done here. I was able to get the manifold and hose replaced with another mechanic for one third of the price that Muffler Clinic quoted me. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!
