Review content:
We had them work on our air conditioner two years ago and began to experience problems again a few months ago. When we had it fixed again (by different company) recently, we found that two years ago, when replacing the capacitor, The Appliance Doctor simply left the old one bolted in, hooked the new one up via (unprotected) wires and actually set the new one in beside the old one, leaving it in it's box!!! We saw this before the current company replaced both of them, and have the used ones and weathered box as proof sitting on our shelf. It is amazing that the cardboard box didn't catch fire! The company that corrected the problem said they had never seen anything like this before, and that we were very lucky that our air conditioner had not caught fire or the motor burned out completely. Cons: shoddy work
