Review content:
We had an absolutely awful experience at Tobacco Road Sports Cafe in downtown Raleigh. We had our rehearsal dinner there on a Thursday night. I thought it would be great because they wouldn't be busy on a weeknight, so I went in expecting excellent service. It was the exact opposite! The person I had been in contact with was Rommie, and I had set up a fixed menu at a fixed price. I arrived a little later than the rest of my guests, and found that they had been given the regular menu (Rommie had promised to have the fixed menu printed and on the table when we arrived). I thought it would be no big deal, and I spoke to the manager that was working that evening and told him about the mix up. He said he would handle it. Eventually the staff had to take that to make the menu because, evidently, they couldn't get in touch with Rommie. My sister asked if some sort of appetizers could be brought out because at that point we had been waiting over 45 minutes and were starving. They brought 2 plates of pico de gallo and one of guacamole, all of which was inhaled within minutes. We finally got to ORDER over an HOUR after we all had arrived. As far as I know, no one had any issues with their food. When we got the check, I saw that they charged us for 2 extra heads, but that was straightened out quickly. They didn
